Monty Python's Spamalot is a musical comedy "lovingly ripped off from" the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Monty Python stalwart Eric Idle and composer John Du Prez adapt the classic film Monty Python and the Holy Grail into a musical featuring the Knights Who Say Ni, killer rabbits, accused witches and other Python touches. Spamalot adds swipes at Vegas glitz and Broadway conventions to the film’s anarchic spirit.  Like the film, it is a highly irreverent parody of the Arthurian Legend, but it differs from the film in many ways, especially in its paro
